Feeding Sandy: From Heart to Table

This holiday season you can buy the cookbook that gives back. It's hard to believe that Hurricane Sandy happened just over a month ago. The storm displaced thousands of families in the NYC area and many are still reeling from the devastation. Our organization, UWSLoves, quickly came together as a way to provide comforting food and supplies to those in some of the most damaged areas of NYC. In just three short weeks, we have fed over 1500 people all from one apartment on the West Side of Manhattan. The relief work has just begun, so we have compiled this cookbook that includes the stories and 54 recipes that have made our organization so special.
