Nathan Sorry is an investment analyst who was supposed to be in the World Trade Center on 9/11 but a missed a flight and a stolen laptop sends him on the run with $20 million and a new identity.

Two months later he shows up in a small town as James Goode and waits for his opportunity to flee the country. But the more he gets to know the town’s residents the more his shaky escape plan begins to fall apart.
