About chapter 1: Jethro has had enough of scripts inexplicably wandering around from shelf to shelf. He decides to confront the one who's responsible for the mess unprecedented in the greatest - and only - library of Westerport. 

About the story: Set in the city state of Westerport, where magic is banned, is a story about a thief who... er.... "finds" a mysterious artefact that brings him nothing but grief. Deciphering the workings of the item promptly becomes a race against time, and life doesn't just stop for the sake of letting him figure it all out without dragging the people he most cares about into his mess.
