Steve Stein is one of the most influential producers in hiphop, sampling, and cut & paste. Known simply as Steinski, his legendary mixes with Double Dee, “The Lessons,” are cited as definitive influences by DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist and Fatboy Slim, among others. What Does It All Mean?: 1983-2006 Retrospective is the first and only official Steinski collection. This is the FLAC version. FLAC files are much larger than MP3 files due to being a lossless quality audio format. However, FLAC files are not as compatible with programs as MP3s are. (iTunes cannot play FLAC). This purchase does also include the MP3 version, which are compatible with just about all audio programs and all music players (iTunes, iPhones, Android, etc.) It also contains liner notes for the album.
