Grounding, Resourcing and Peaceful Place Guided Meditation (with bilateral music) is a 14 minute meditation designed to help alleviate stress and anxiety. For those that have difficulty with water sounds, this is the same guided meditation as #2, but with bilateral music only. The bilateral music in the background alternates back and forth, from left to right - a technique used in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) to deepen and integrate the process. There are twelve minutes of guided meditation, followed by an additional two minutes of music to conclude your meditation when it feels right. You can use this meditation on a daily basis, or any time you feel your nervous system getting activated. To receive the greatest benefit of the bilateral effect, be sure to wear headphones.
