4 downloadable yoga sequences designed for each season to strengthen and support the body.

Spring:

A vinyasa flow yoga sequence woven together to strengthen liver and gallbladder.These two paired yin and yang internal organs are stimulated during spring through cleansing. Often times we get sick so that the body moves out toxins naturally. I believe in a proactive cleansing so that if you do get sick you wont be sick as long.

 

Summer:

A yoga sequence  which focuses on strengthening and opening the heart, so that we can love more! This download starts out with 5 minutes of kirtan with Kavita Kat Macmillan, which helps to vibrationally open the body. The yoga sequence was recorded during the early morning on a sacred beach in Kauai by my daughter. There are ominous clouds hanging in the sky and turbulent waves, which I think speaks to how our hearts behave. This yoga sequence is only 34 minutes long, which makes it easier to fit into your daily life. 

Fall:

A yoga sequence created with the focus on strengthening the large intestines and lungs. In Chinese Medicine these organs are paired yin and yang organs and are stimulated during the season of autumn. This yoga sequence was designed to support your physical and emotional health. The emotion that is associated with lungs is grief. The energy of large intestines is letting go. I have included a 5 minute chant that you can sing, to move into grief, and to let go of anything that is not serving you. The 20 minute yoga sequence is fast moving to increase circulation to support and strengthen the lungs and digestive tract. 

Winter:

A yoga sequence created with the focus on strengthening and supporting the kidneys and bladder. In Chinese Medicine these organs are paired yin and yang organs and are stimulated during the season of winter. This yoga sequence was designed to support your physical and emotional health. The emotion that is associated with winter is fear and extreme anxiety. The energy of bladder is letting go which is the yang organ. The energy of the kidneys is yin and you want to build, support and nourish your kidneys as they are your life force energy. I have included a 5 minute chant that you can sing with Kavita Macmillen and myself, to move into fear and anxiety, instead of holding tightly to these emotions you can let these emotions move through you. This 35 minute yoga sequence is deeply restorative, and strengthens the back body and kidneys. There is an emphasis on supporting the low back through broadening horizontally. This sequence strengthens the bladder and internal organs through the pelvis through twists, compression and circulation.
