Four Board Games in Search of a Rule Book is an experimental zine created by Jacob Surovsky, featuring four original board games where you invent your own rules! Grab some dice, tokens, lego bricks, dry pasta, or whatever else you have on hand and create a brand new game using the board design as inspiration. Then, share your rules with a public database where you can see what games other people have invented.

However, do keep in mind that projects like these take a lot of time and effort to create, so if you're willing to make a donation when you download it that would be much appreciated. I'm hoping to release more of these in the future and create a whole ecosystem of experimental board games, so a little bit now will go a long way in the future.
