These plants were carefully selected to work perfectly together by garden design guru, Darcy Daniels, creator of eGardenGo and designer with Bloomtown® Gardens.

A focus on foliage ensures that this combo provides garden enjoyment for months on end—an evolving display of foliage and flower carries the scene from spring to fall with some elements additionally providing year-round structure. In spring, fresh new foliage in a variety of textures and colors is accented by a carpet of blooming geranium. Later panicles of ivory blooms decorate the bold foliage of the oakleaf hydrangea and continue looking good as they age and take on rosy tones. In fall, the Japanese maple and oakleaf hydrangea put on a spectacular end-of-season display of autumnal color.

This combo works with or without the suggested tree ( 'Seiryu') and the plans available for download include versions that include the tree and versions that do not.
