The Legacy of Gilbert Klingel: The Man of Steel

Gilbert Klingel was a pioneer of the Chesapeake Bay.  He wrote 3 novels, built hundreds of steel hulled boats by hand, was shipwrecked for two years, and was an early naturalist studying marine life in the Chesapeake.   Early 35 mm film footage and National Geographic archival films are featured in the remarkable documentary.
