Generic Baked Procedurals - Set 02
Looking for an easy way to enhance your shaders? Here's a quick fix that works on almost every scene.
Procedurals are great for spicing up your shaders, but often come with a number of drawbacks. Whether it's the lack of choice in a specific application, poor support by your renderer or something as silly as a changing seed value when rendering on a farm, they are not always painless to deal with.
Tired of the issues I generated a bunch of pre-baked, looping textures for our studio. I use them daily in my work and when combined with photo-based or painted textures, the number of different looks that can be achieved is limitless.
Since I've found them so useful, I decided to share the two sets I had created with everyone. Hope you'll find them as helpful in your work as an artist as I do!
