12 Prayers for Christmas

The Christmas Season is Here!

Along with honoring the meaning of Christmas and the traditions that come along with it, I use it as a time to ask myself a few questions.

• Am I staying connect to Spirit?

• Am I putting God before every thought, step and action that I make?

• I question where I am and the true reasons behind my life choices and how I have used my time over the year?

• Have I been neglectful of the truly important things?

My Mom was a spiritual counselor. I watched her pray and deliver people from illnesses and fears. And most importantly, I watched how she taught them to pray.

She taught that in order to truly ignite the power contained in our prayers, they had to possess certain properties. They had to be sincere and always, always be bigger than ourselves.

A year ago, in my quiet and prayerful moments, I wrote 12 Prayers for Christmas.
