OTT Presets for Fabfilter Pro-MB

These presets for Fabfilter Pro-MB will give you a similar sound as the Xfer Records OTT effect plugin or the Ableton Live OTT setting on their compressor.

OTT1.ffp is a good approximation of the sound, while OTT2.ffp takes it a bit further and refines the sound with oversampling and more mid compression, but can sound kind of "bright" in the highs (beware if your input is already good in the high frequencies). OTT3 corrects a bit more and gives a good overall sound. OTT4 is steeper on the low end and gives a more percussive sound to the drums and bass, while the bands are all quite fast-reacting. OTT5 is easier on the low end and all bands overall. It is good for acoustic or piano materials as it reacts slower in the low end.

The plain old "OTT" preset, OTT.ffp, (no numbers after it) is what I am working with at the current time, and it is subject to change. If it is not included here, it means I am working on adjusting it, so check back later. If it is here, then this is exactly the preset that I am using on my master at the moment.

All of these should give you a basis to work within comparing the sound of OTT to your Pro-MB. Adjust the controls to create your own.
