Plain & Ornamental Alphabets - H.D. Smith - 1840

One of the absolute oldest books in Lettering Library catalog is this little 15 page gem from 1840. It seems to be missing its original cover, but the inside contents are all present. There are a handful of gorgeous ornamental alphabets here as well as the inclusion of the rarely seen Hebrew and Greek alphabets.
