Save $5 - With this 4-pattern set of printable papercraft patterns (PDFs), you'll have enough faux trophy wall sculptures for your own home to give as gifts.

As soon as you print the patterns and tape them together, they'll be ready for their final coat of paper mache. No sculpting experience is required. You can use paper strips and paste or my paper mache clay. You'll find recipes for both in the Paper Mache Art Library.

The patterns include written instructions or a link to videos that show you how the patterns are put together. You can finish them with acrylic paint or colored paper. If this is your first time using papercraft patterns for paper mache sculptures, start with the Giant African Bullfrog. After you build the frog the other patterns will go together easily.

To make these paper mache wall sculptures you will need:

  • 110# card stock
  • A printer
  • Scissors
  • Clear plastic tape (like Scotch tape) or Peel N' Stick Clear Laminate Adhesive Shelf Liner*
  • Wooden or Styrofoam balls for the eyes.
  • Glue gun, to attach the eyes
  • Masking tape (both narrow and wide)
  • Aluminum foil, shredded paper or foam packing peanuts for stuffing inside the patterns to support them while you add the paper mache.
  • Old newspapers and paste, or a batch of my paper mache clay
  • Acrylic Paint and Acrylic Medium
  • Colored tissue paper (optional)
  • Matte acrylic varnish

*You can find clear shelf linerĀ  in the housewares department of Walmart, or order it online. Or use the tape. It's to keep the card stock from getting wet when you add the paper mache.

The patterns will be available for instant download as soon as you order, so you can get started on your favorite faux trophy mount today.
