Monograms, Crests & Scrolls - Conrad W. Schmidt - 1895

Conrad W. Schmidt was a manufacturer of paints and varnishes whom founded his company in 1864 which is still in operation to this day. This particular book was essentially a very involved advertisement which could be assumed to have been sold specifically to coach and wagon painters of the late 19th century. It's a gorgeous 4 color book with a wealth of useful designs for the sign painter or lettering artist.
