Multi-Track Audio Buss Racks (Beta!)
These Audio Effect Racks are designed to feed multiple tracks into a single track without using the tracks I/O panel or sends, like you would normally do.
They simply utilize the sidechain pre-listening option on the Compressor to feed multiple tracks into one, by stacking multiple compressors parallel in an Audio Effect Rack.
This simple but effective trick offers a lot of great possibilities. Ranging from building individuall aux or return tracks for track groups or adding more than twelve return tracks to your project, on to stem creation and grouping multiple tracks across groups. Because, you can also use this technique to route whole groups, or tracks from different groups, together without having to group them in the regular way.
Another nice to have feature this technique offers is the point that you have access to the return tracks using Lives file browser. This allows you to drag'n'drop your returns, like any other track, from any other project into your current Live Set.
Also it offers the ability to have MIDI clips with automation or modulation curves, for any of the parameters on that track on your Returns. Even in Session View, where you normally can't automate or modulate parameters on regular Return Tracks, using Live Clips.
The possibilities are sheer endless here.
