The Parent's Guide to YouTube

With the increasing interconnectivity of Internet and social media, along with the newest technological innovations, our children and young people are living in fantastic times. But for parents and caregivers, the times may not always seem so fantastic as we struggle to protect our children from all the online craziness. And the video-sharing platform YouTube, for example, with its wide range in content, can be full of online silliness ranging from the perfectly mundane cat videos to the “oh my gosh, how can that be online?” insanity.

Your job as a parent is to help your child manage that content and reap the benefits of this ultra-creative platform, while avoiding the content that is “cray cray”.
