Love Royal Wedding Counted Cross Stitch Pattern

Join us as we stitch together "Love." This Stitch-A-Long (SAL) begins with the British royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel. Let's stitch this stylized white wedding motif. The piece is adorned with lily of the valley flowers, an abstract peony, three white roses, and delicate beaded myrtle flowers. Lily of the Valley and myrtle have historical significance as they have graced the royal wedding bouquets for over a century. Peonies are rumored to be Meghan Markle's favorite flower. 

Once you purchase the pattern, you will receive a complete cross stitch pattern and a printable floss organizer. Cut out the floss organizer and use it on your upcoming stitching projects. 

Finished Stitched Design size:

3.6 x 3.1 inches 

9.1 cm x 7.9 cm 

Finished design size to mount and display: 4 inches square (10.2 cm)

The model is stitched on 18 count dark navy blue Aida cloth with DMC embroidery floss. Two strands are used for the full cross stitches, backstitching, and beads. The bottom of the piece is charted for large buttons (3/4 inch or 20 mm). We attached decorative white sequin floral buttons. In place of the buttons, you can stitch the date or leave the area blank. Please feel free to change your floss colors and cloth colors. If you do not want to attach beads, you can create French knots using white floss. 

Materials needed to complete this project:

At least a 4 inch square piece of 18 count Aida or 36 count linen.
