That Chill at Daybreak

TCaD is a self-published chapbook I created in high school. Its title and theme have been inspired by one of my favorite poems, "a laying on of hands" by Ntozake Shange. The work altogether features 17 poems and two prose pieces. These works include some published in  and others. 

This work is a labor of love from my younger self, touching mainly on themes of teenage spite, loneliness, and yearning for the future. 

AUTHOR'S NOTE
