The Moment

I remember waking up, looking in the mirror, and wanting to cry. In between teaching and managing family life, I had somehow lost myself.

The irony was that I'd gained 40 pounds while doing it.

The faster life went, the less in control I felt.

It's a terrible feeling isn't it? That aching discontent that seems to settle into the pit of your stomach and churn up all sorts of anxiety and doubt is deadly. And horribly unhealthy.

So, I did what you've probably done in the past too - maybe even this year. I made a New Year's resolution to exercise and start eating the way I thought I should eat. Salads were going to become my BFF and ice cream was getting kicked to the curb.

My intentions were the best. I was confident - although getting rid of the ice cream was hard for sure.

Days 1-3 went well, but on day 4? Day 4 I woke up with a cold.

Annnnnd before I knew it, it was March and I was standing back in front of the mirror wanting to kick myself for not exercising and losing the weight.

Talk about a cycle!

So, I enlisted help. I actually reached out to someone who knew a lot more about fitness than I did and who was willing to hold me accountable.

I. Asked. For. Help.

And it made all the difference.

Since then, I've gone on to become a Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Big switch, huh? =)

For me, being a trainer is my way of giving back, of helping others who are standing in front of the mirror on that stupid scale feeling like they will never be able to reach their goals. I don't want anyone to stay in that spot of self-doubt and defeat - ever. You are made for more!

I've worked with women of all ages - from pre-teens to women in their 60s - to help them overcome the limitations they've been placing on their success.

And it all starts with small changes and reaching out for help.

The ME Time Fitness Program offers a 3, 6, and 12 month subscription. The plans are significantly less than you'd ever pay at a gym and you have direct access to me, a certified personal trainer, !

The prices break down as follows:

  • 6 Month Subscription: $270 (over $900 value)/ $45/month

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Have to Take Before and After Pictures?

You don't have to, but I can tell you from experience that those before and progress pictures will keep you motivated - even if the scale is stubborn about budging! You absolutely do not have to post them online or show them to me. If you want to send them, so that I can help track your progress - GREAT! If you want to just keep them to yourself, I'm totally okay with that too.


Are We Going to Work Out During the One-on-One Online Sessions?

The purpose of the 30-minute sessions is to really find out what's going on with you, your body, and your range of motion. So, I'll ask that you come ready to do a few simple moves, so that I can get an idea of your stability and balance, as well as your form. We won't be doing any high energy moves though, so no worries! The sessions are also not recorded (unless you specifically request them to be), so you don't have to worry about being filmed.

The weekly check-in one-on-one sessions are to make any quick adjustments to your routine and habits. No workouts will be done during those either.


Do I Have to Meet with You/Get Texts?

Nope, it's completely up to you! Some people love getting daily check-in texts and others find they don't need the accountability. It's totally up to you. You'll still be able to access our private group with daily inspiration, a workout of the day, and all of the other motivational posts even if you don't want to meet one-on-one or get daily texts.


I Have Knee/Hip/Shoulder/Elbow/etc. Problems. Can I Still Participate?

You absolutely can. One of the things you'll be required to do before starting is to sign a waiver and, if you have some type of injury, mobility issue, or recently had surgery, I will strongly encourage you to consult your doctor to make sure you're cleared for exercise. I've had two knee surgeries, so I get it! We'll work with whatever your doctor clears you for!


I Work Full Time. Can I Fit the Program Around That?

Whether you're a teacher, work in an office, or have a job that's demanding, you can absolutely work the program around it. Remember, this program is personalized. That means that if you tell me you're teaching all day, I'll be giving you suggestions for things you can do in the classroom to help you reach your health and fitness goals. The program works with your needs.


I Stay at Home with My Kids All Day. Is This Program for Me?

110% YES! I've been a stay at home mom, so I understand the challenges of working out with kids at home. Don't worry, I've got your back and we'll come up with ways to help you get in shape and feel good!


How Long Do I Have to Sign-up For?

The minimum you can sign-up for is 3 months. Why? Well, because 4 weeks does not give you time to really see changes. Even 3 months is pushing it, so I strongly suggest that my clients commit to at least 6 months.

You didn't gain weight and fall into unhealthy habits (the ice cream after the kids went to bed habit was one of my downfalls!) overnight, and you're not going to change that overnight. Give yourself the time you need to get in shape and make the changes, so that they stick. We're in this for the long haul, not a quick fix.


I'm Getting Married in 9 Months. Is This a Good Program to Help Me Lose Weight?

How Do We Meet for Our One-on-One Sessions?

It doesn't matter where in the world you live, because we meet online! We'll be using a free, online video conferencing program to meet.
