Proust + Vermeer (English version)

This half-hour film features all of the 17th-century Dutch Master's known works. Twenty-eight passages from Marcel Proust's novel "In Search of Lost Time," serve as illustration. The film culminates with the low comedy and high drama of the death of Bergotte while admiring "a little patch of yellow wall" in Vermeer's "The View of Delft." The film's creator, Richard Voorhees, did the English translation and performs the voice-over narration.
