SEW UP A STORM: All the Way to the Bank, is a book about ways to make money in a sewing-related business, published October, 1995. This book is very inspiring and shares stories of how one can turn a hobby, or an idea into a professional sewing business.

Karen L. Maslowski the author, was a lecturer, writer, sewing teacher. Past editor of Sew Up a Storm: The Newsletter for Sewing Entrepreneurs, and the author of Workroom Design:Space Solutions for Sewing Workrooms and Sew Up A Storm: All the Way to the Bank!

Karen was a well-known speaker, and traveled to consumer and professional shows around the country.

After experiencing corporate burnout in 1988 from selling life, casualty and health insurance to professionals, she decided to turn to her creative side. Over the years she has owned several different types of sewing businesses, including dressmaking and alterations, and crafts.

We believe this is a must read book, even though it was published 20 plus years ago.
