This is a first!

An original choreography by Audra, broken down into short sections that are easily digestible and geared towards intermediate level dancers.

Set to a upbeat and fun 1920's song, Old King Tut by Stephen DeRosa (from the Boardwalk Empire soundtrack), this choreography uses belly dance movement, footwork and unique combinations that are a great way to develop your movement vocabulary or to use as your next solo performance.

Each section is broken down verbally and with demonstration, and the sections are drilled with and without music on their own, and then from the beginning.

Dancers should be comfortable with movements such as undulations, hips on the up, chest circles and arm undulations, all done with basic walking steps.

Filmed from behind, the video enables you to either watch Audra from behind (as you would in class), and also be able to see her in the mirror (so you can see exactly what the movements are from that angle).

Below is part of the Lavender class from The Dark Side Studio performing the choreography.
