Starting your own business is a big deal.

There are so many things to consider and you can't just jump into it without a safety net. Not to mention, you still have all those blocks in your way and yeah, you gotta feed yourself and maybe other people as well.

will give you my story (how I started a business without worrying about the bills), step by step guide (and I mean everything from how to overcome your blocks to the technical bits), and the resources I needed to launch my business.

It is my greatest gift to you. Now let's begin. :)

The story.

Two years ago my confidence was shot and I was ready to move to London and clean houses for a living.

I don't want to go too deep into the story, but let's just say it was a dark year, where the voices inside my head were not only extremely negative, but also prevailing. It took me months to build up my confidence again and start my own business.

(Because if you want to start a business, you kind of have to be brave and confident. Otherwise you'll be fighting yourself every step of the way.)

The year of 2015 has marked my personal and professional transformation. I finally achieved what most people strive for -

To find something that will both feed and fulfill them.

But the ride was NOT smooth and it was definitely not intuitive. I had to spend a lot of time searching, analyzing, and asking for help. I'm not saying those are wasteful things, but maybe there's an easier way. Maybe you're gonna find answers to your endless questions in this guide.

More time. It's my clients' #1 concern.

A huge part of my recovery process was consulting. It happened by accident, but I'm happy it did because it showed me how much guidance people actually need. I kind of knew this, being lost and confused all the time myself, but this time I experienced the process from "the other side" and truly learned to love teaching.

And here's the biggest lesson I learned: People are overly concerned about their time. Even more so than money. Time is the currency of the 21st century.

Is it any wonder then that so many products promise to get us *fast* results?

You probably don't have too much time either.

If you're hoping to start something "on the side", the last thing you want is spending months and thousands of dollars on learning the best way to start your business. Both DIY'ing it and turning to experts each has their HIGH PRICE of admission, which you don't have to pay at all.

You read that right. This is the cheapest you're gonna get.

Why is this guide different?

I've seen a dozen of these start your own business guides.

However, this guide is slightly different. First of all, when I was writing it, I focused on VALUE. I didn't care about emails or word count or best practices. So much so, I can say it would have helped me a lot two years ago.

Back then I needed a TRUE FOUNDATION - not just the "how" part of starting a business, but also advice about the things not everybody talks about - how not to go broke, how to build up my confidence, and so on.

This is why I organized the guide into 3 parts (similar to building a house):

spring cleaning (identifying and overcoming mental blocks)

the foundation (building your foundation from scratch - from financial cushions to finding your purpose to starting things that will last you forever)

construction (the nuts and bolts of starting your biz & planning ahead)

I've also included some resources it took me AGES to assemble. It's not about giving you a list of all the tools and names I have discovered. It's about giving you the tools and names that will get you as far as you want.

What people say.

"Your ebook is awesome. Things I love, 1) a lot of the items I have already faced / completed but even at the stage where I am now there was still useful info; 2) the combination of tools, useful information, and personal stories. Some people trying to be helpful give you a huge block of "useful tools" but it's so overwhelming. It was like a wave, you can pick and choose what you want to work on and have personal examples of why it worked. Love it! Please write a book I can purchase." - Emmaly Knecht of Eba Totes
"Violeta’s story is an inspiring one and this guide is filled with great tips and an easy to follow path for creatives seeking to start a business they are passionate about. This is a guide written from raw experience and hard fought knowledge. And it shows. An inspiring read with actionable steps. Loved it." - James Qualtrough of Slidecraft
"I want to say that the $29 (at least) would be totally deserved! It's an amazing book, well written and easy to read and yet so full of great advice! I had the feeling that you knew the stage I'm going through and every sentence resonated with something deep inside! You give me hope, you made me smile! As a Yoga Facilitator - this book comes as close to my philosophy as a teacher as any other "spiritual" book I have been through so far. THANK YOU for sharing!" - Laura Slavov of Zen Yoga
"The guide touched on things that I keep seeing in terms of marketing for example networking and building relationships as opposed to just selling. I liked the part about creating a sustainable business; giving value and the resources at the end were helpful. Most of them were new to me. I liked that you highlighted the struggles that you went through, that the journey is not always perfect." - Gina Charles, freelancer
"Thank you so, so much. It means a hell of a lot that I was able to find this information out in the vast universe we call the Internet :) I don't think I could have written a better business guide myself. You answered every single question I had and even gave me the links I was looking for all this time. I've always known in the back of my mind to Keep It Simple Stupid." - R. Martin
