Particle Editor extension which extends your particle effect toolbox with new possibilities.

The new modules allow for the following new effects ([*] = GPU particles supported):

  • Spawn particles on static and dynamic mesh surfaces [*]
  • Use your own implementation with the "custom logic" module (supports C++ and blueprint) [*]
  • Galaxy creation [*]
  • Swarm movement
  • Simple particle turbulence
  • Texture heightmaps [*]
  • Texture colormaps
  • Force points
  • New "donut" shape [*]
  • Jiggle particles around
  • Speed by size over time
  • Translucency sort order
  • Decal particles


Of course, all modules work in the editor as well as a shipping build.

Supported Unreal Engine versions: 4.12, 4.13, 4.14, 4.15, 4.16, 4.17

Important note!

Due to API restrictions, all versions prior to 4.17 must not bake any distributions on modules of this plugin; otherwise the garbage collector might throw errors in a packaged game.
