Select every other edge, vert, face, or define your own skip pattern. Selecting alternating loops and rings has never been easier in Autodesk Maya.
WARNING before using these scripts:
If you're using Maya 2018 please install service pack 6 or later
If you're using Maya 2017 please install service pack 5 or later
FEATURES:
-Does not work on n-gons or tris
-This tool allows you to select alternating patterns of components, for example 1/on 1/off, or 3/on 3/off, but it does not allow you to select asymmetrical patterns such as 3/on 4/off
-Select every other edge, vert, face on the current loop or ring
-Define your own edge, vert, face skip pattern on the current loop or ring. For example 2/on 2/off, 3/on 3/off, 4/on 4/off etc.
-Convert your current selection to edge, vert, face, loop or ring
-Free updates, includes any improvements made to the script after purchase, download the same file again to get the update
-Tested on Maya 2022, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, LT, Student
