About the Webinar

Online learning is becoming more prevalent in modern society and is critical during times of social distancing. During this time, most educators are mandated to teach on-line. Health and fitness professionals alike are finding new ways to keep people motivated to move, even if it is at home. During times of a pandemic, the home is all we have. We also can't expect people to have safe neighborhoods. If students have access to virtual means, they will be more likely to stay engaged in learning if the teacher, parent and student work together.

This session will describe virtual methods to teach health and fitness including: mobility training, nutrition education, tabata workouts, light to moderate intensity workouts, and sport skill learning. This session will focus on Zoom, YouTube and Facebook Live methods of learning for health and fitness professionals. It will also take you through iMovie to create and edit your own videos.
