Every year many designers apply to designer showhouses with the hopes of participating but only a few are selected. Putting together a showhouse room that stands out requires a lot of thought and effort, and decorating the room is only the beginning. This seminar will give you insight into producing showhouse rooms, what to expect and how to best prepare.
Hosts Brittany Marom and Nicole Villi are the founders of Designer Attaché, a design firm that offers designers nationwide with the services of skilled design assistants on an hourly or per-project basis. They have experience managing showhouse installations, as well as extensive knowledge of showhouse screening processes, expense reporting and management, insurance requirements, vendor promotion and co-marketing, and time management.
