The SWON Libraries 2013 Teen Reader's Advisory Guide

Over three months in early 2013, nearly 200 librarians (and a few of their friends) read over 4,000 books as part of SWON's Teen Reading Challenge. They read for their jobs, to be ready to recommend books to patrons, and for the pleasure of reading. 

This year we asked them to tell us about the books they read. They wrote reviews, from six words to 600 or more, added tags for categories and gave star ratings to . We collected them using LibraryThing and organized them (using Excel and InDesign) into a reader's advisory guide. Here it is. The guide. This is it.

This PDF is fully searchable, so it's easy to look up an author, title or genre. It's also print-ready, so load your printer with 150 pages, print front-and-back and bind it up.
