THOUGHTS:
Men really are different from women when it comes to communication.  Women seem to open up and share and get deep with another woman almost instantly.  It’s like they all know what the other is thinking and they’ve all been through what the other is going through.

Men are uncomfortable with their feelings.  Is it a sign of weakness?  Maybe.  Is it just poor models from the past that failed to show us their feelings?  Sure.  Whatever it is, men still need to express themselves to other men.  Just because it’s difficult, doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

Proverbs 27:17 says “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”  Howard Henricks says, “A man who is not in a small group is like an accident waiting to happen.”  Men need to open up to other men and make themselves available for other men to express themselves in a non-judgmental environment.  For women, that just comes easy.
