Black Heroes Matter is a visual art project by Steven Christian that aims to redefine popular cartoon heroes so that people of color can identify with them on a more personal level. Through his character Roscoe and Vanessa from Adventures in Iltopia, Steven re-envisions these popular character in whimsical and entertaining scenes while staying true to the original characters likeness. This alternative interpretation will have you looking at your heroes in a new and exciting way.
