Who's Rowing Your Boat: Building Administrative Teams

A competitive rowing team is called a crew. A crew consists of rowers and a coxswain. The rowers in a crew sit with their backs to the bow or front section of the boat. The rowers provide the propulsion via their use of oars. In a crew of eight, the rowers are further split into technical-class rowers.

The powerhouse seats are in the middle providing strength and power. Seat eight is in the bow keeping the boat stable and balanced. Then, the stern holds the Coxswain, who has the responsibility of watching, steering, and motivating the team during the race.

You cannot join a competitive race with a rowboat. You need a team!
