The Aquí y Allá project explores the impact of immigration on the lives of Mexican immigrant youth in South Philadelphia in connection with youth in Chihuahua, Mexico. The project has 3 elements: the mural, the film, and the curriculum.

The project was created by visual artist Michelle Angela Ortiz. Ortiz led the cross-cultural collaboration in Philadelphia, Juarez and Chihuahua City, Mexico. She also collaborated with artists from Colectivo Rezizte and Colectivo Madroño from Mexico. The youth in each location shared their stories and created transportable mural panels that were installed together in South Philadelphia.
