This 250+ page book was written as an accompaniment to my YouTube Playlist entitled: How to Become a Pianist in Ten Lessons ( https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4cPpP-Ua6NWrn4SeCHHjMNMESg0qEZ-M ).  Although I have newer content on my channel since this publication, the content contained herein is no less valuable and applies no less to all my more recent videos.

You will be exposed to the piano in such a way as to develop the so-often neglected Internal Piano, master all 12 major scales, see chords for the simplicity they are and acquire the ability to recognise your own abilities and Musical Personality, freeing the way to making you the pianist You want to be.

This is not a method book. If anything, the method contained herein is on how to enlighten yourself to what the 'You' method is! No book was ever written for You, based on Your needs, natural abilities or ambitions but what this book does contain is everything you most certainly will need, no matter your natural path.

It is best read away from the piano as much as possible so as to enhance your Internal Piano. You will be encouraged to go on an exciting, destinationless journey of pianistic self-discovery.

The first and perhaps most important chapter is on how to become an excellent adult learner. This means removing the ego, believing in the Self and not finding excuses for not making progress.

Remember that you are always a beginner, as am I. In the expert's mind, there are few possibilities because it is believed that everything has been achieved; one becomes stagnant and self-righteous. In the beginner's mind, there are many possibilities and every moment is as exciting as if the first. Remain a beginner yet master much.

Also consider my Water Pianism Philosophy Podcast Collection if you feel ready to experience your mind in ways never imagined and are of the type who understands that all life lessons may be found in Nature, especially water.

Best,
Dan
