This sewing pattern is for an iconic baguette-style bag, trimmed in piping, and adorned with an embellishment or a buckle of your choice.

It features a front flap, with a magnetic clasp, detachable handles with D-ring connectors, and a lining.

The bag could be carried by hand, with a shorter top handle, or worn either on the shoulder or cross-body by using a leather or canvas shoulder strap.

The pattern can be reduced or enlarged. For reference, the purse in the photo was made with a suiting tweed. Final measurements are 6 inches tall x 1.25 inches deep x 9.75 inches long, using the pattern at 100% scale.
