Paper, table, two chairs

TIME:
2 minutes

PRODUCTION NOTES:
I had to keep the actors from getting mean with this one.  It’s meant to be silly.  The tone should not be accusational from Natalie, but confused, trying to figure this out.  Tim should play bigger than life, self-righteous, totally convinced he’s doing the right thing.  He’s trying to run a business and this “employee” is making things difficult.  Keep it moving quickly, with few pauses except for laughs.

THOUGHTS:
Ephesians 5:22-33 gives a very detailed report card for husbands and wives, concerning their duties.  It’s all about serving.

Many times, husbands and wives point the finger at the other and say “You should be doing this!”  According to the Bible, we should be pointing the finger at ourselves and asking, “What should I be doing?”

There are roles and responsibilities in marriage, but it is a partnership, not a business org chart.

THEMES:
MARRIAGE, MEN, WOMEN, ROLES.
