I started using Patreon in mid-2015, and currently make 3.5k+ per month thanks to the support of my readers. The trick is to plan a campaign that is practical, scalable, and which gives authentic value to your Patrons at a reasonable rate.

In this first of this set of two tutorials, I'll cover the anatomy of a Patreon account and advice on how to plan your own campaign. In the second tutorial, we'll talk about launching and maintaining a live Patreon, as well as tweaking your campaign as your needs and your audience needs develop over time.
