Colours Of Water - Original

I have always had a fascination for the light that reflects off of water.

The sea, the lakes, even ice or the snow gets hit by the sun’s rays and creates vivid moments of colour.

I’ve been particularly fascinated by how the light changes throughout the day reflecting new colours as the light waves

Colours Of Water is from a series called Light & Water and is inspired by the meeting of those two things.

I used oil paint and gesso, gold leaf, pallet knives and brushes to create this painting and it is ready to hang.
