Discourse Heavy Set | Desktop

Discourse Heavy Set is a package of three widths: Heavy Narrow, Middle, and Wide. The package also includes the Shadow, Outline, and Fill versions for each of the three widths (12 fonts total) that can be layered for a fun chromatic effect.

Although it references classic reverse-contrast wood type associated with the era of the Wild West, the Discourse Heavy Set by Dave Bailey is the opposite extreme of the Light Set. These three heavy versions of Discourse concentrate on creating the highest visual impact with the darkest color possible and tight spacing.

Discourse is best used at large sizes. It looks great on packaging, in headlines and for assembling colorful logotypes.
