"Esoterica is a zine that understands that language does not necessarily mean the words on a page. Language transcends just words, or speaking, and encompasses communication in a variety of forms. Music can be seen as a language. Poetry, an extension of communication in a format not as literal as the everyday conversations we butt up against time and time again. Abstract expressionism, another language transcending words entirely."
