Analyzing an Expense Log with Pivot Tables

A log is a special type of dataset in which there are entries by date, event, or occurence (rather than having a separate entry per person, like in a demographic file).

This file contains a portion of my real business expenses. I recorded the date I spent the money, the vendor I paid, the dollar amount, and the category.
