June Mini-Retreat: Peace and Conflict in Northern Ireland with Lesley Carroll

Lesley Carroll was one of the youngest clergy people involved in the northern Irish peace process, engaged in violence reduction work for over thirty years. She now serves as the Prisoner Ombudsman for Northern Ireland, investigating complaints from prisoners and prison visitors, and deaths in custody. In this workshop she will be in conversation with New Story Festival co-founder and northern Irish story activist Gareth Higgins, about how the best response to a broken society is to become part of the healing.
