I’m an entrepreneur and one of the creators of the e-book and video course: “Secret Sauce: A step-by-step guide to growth hacking”, along with growth hacker and my co-author, Austen Allred.

I was on welfare/benefits 3 years ago, and used growth hacking techniques to get millions of visitors to websites I created and raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in investment, and got into the Techstars accelerator. I then launched a growth hacking agency and have used these techniques to move hundreds of thousands of people to websites, and acquire tonnes of users and followers for startups.
A key change in my life happened a year ago. An accelerator had heard I was a “growth hacker” and asked me to give a talk to their current teams. 

I put together a slide deck of what I considered the basics, and gave a presentation. Halfway through my talk I realised half of the room was taking pages of notes, while the others stared at me in disbelief. The minute my talk finished, founders ran up to me asking for my slides and if I did consulting. I was surprised- I hadn’t seen many people in marketing give talks and presumed you were meant to give practical advice and show people how to do things, pieces of software you can use to automate things, etc. this was not the case. I gave more talks and it’s an incredible feeling how much people find my talks useful. That’s where the idea for this book came from. Give as many people practical, actionable advice and strategies as possible. My growth hacking talk was eventually voted best workshop of SXSW V2V 2015. Earlier this year I gave a 30-date speaking tour of America, and am so excited to get this knowledge out there in full for the first time.
