Prayer-y Dog

A dog is going to be put down at the pound but when it spontaneously learns the power of prayer this praying pup gets a renewed leash on life and is soon traveling the country praying for the sick and elderly to little effect aside from comfort.

EXCERPT~

They started going over the tapes. Nothing out of the ordinary until! At 12:35am they saw it - Miracle Troy nosed open the door to a room where a shetland sheepdog was in critical condition. He walked up to the bed, sniffed around for a moment, sat down by the foot of the bed, and, well Rim could swear it looked like he put his front two paws together and looked up to the ceiling almost like . . . like he was praying. He did that for a moment and got up and went to the next room. Over and over Miracle Troy performed this action until he’d paid a visit to every dog in the hospital. By about 5AM, every pooch, pup, hound, and different animal was on its paws and looking as happy and youthful as a youth marching band who just won a marching band competition.

“I knew Troy had something to do with this!” exclaimed Rim. “I just knew it!” he exclaimed again. Miracle Troy gave a bark and sat and did a funny trick where he raised one paw and sort of posed like kinda, “oh you know it!” sort of. Everyone had a good laugh at that cheeky pose.
