This model comes in three pieces and will require assembly: Base + Horse and Rider + Wolf
The wolf, Gramr, has flat feet, and can stand on his own if you wish to use him for other projects.
The horse needs to be glued to the base.
In Norse mythology, Hel is the daughter of Loki and the Goddess of the Dead. Her kingdom is Niflheim, The World of Darkness. She is often accompanied by a great wolf or hound named Gramr, and rides a three legged horse named Helhest when she travels Midgard to fetch the souls of the dead. Mythology says that she was born with half of her body being dead or skeletal and the other gods were uncomfortable with her appearance, leading Odin to send her away to Niflheim to become its ruler.
