Max for Live: Shepard Risset Synth

Shepard Risset Synth is a Max for Live device. It enables you to play Shepard Tones and Risset Glissandi in Max for Live.

You have great control on both the Center Frequency and the Resonance of the Shepard filter. With the Glide feature, you can perform continuous Risset glissandi over several octaves.

The synthesizer comes with two special features:

• adjust the oscillator bandwidth for a continuous transition from sine wave to noise.
  
• use key follow to move the center frequency of the Shepard filter with the played note, or in contrary movement.
  

Additional controls include coarse and fine tuning, pitch bend range, output gain and drive (saturation), velocity sensitivity, and classic ADSR envelope controls.

This stereo device has been optimized for Max for Live. Parameters are available for automation and MIDI mapping.

Make sure you have access to a device and host application allowing the use of Max for Live devices to use Shepard Risset Synth. This software does not work as a standalone application, it only works as a Max for Live device. Tested with Ableton Live Suite 10.1.
