The author discovers hope, healing, and harmony hidden in plain sight, recovering a sacred truth.
"What was that truth? It was that my very soul was, in fact, inseparable from its Source and alive eternally," writes Richerson. "So, this is my story. I offer it up, with all of my mis-steps and mis-takes, as a testimony of healing and grace." In her gripping account, the author captures firsthand accounts of how each facet of her personality learned first to be and then to come together. Each part came to understand the need to let go of her tight-fisted clutch on who she saw herself to be, then to trust and finally to discover the breath of new life and celebrate the joy of a new dawn.
Richerson traces these five movements and describes both the events that birthed the entrenched parts and a healing experience. Brutally honest and bold in its examination of the self and its meaning, this story is told within the context of life circumstances and the greater journey of the soul through time. The book includes poetry and artwork created by the alter identities that were the author's only experience of self from age three through her early twenties.
Originally published under the title Waterfall Rain, this memoir is above all else a return to the deep knowing that regardless of outer appearances, "Together, we are one."
