RARE Synth samples 700+ Patches for Kontakt

I am currently sorting through my rather large collection of samples with a view to saving disk space but I have decided to apply the Defective Nation Kontakt Interface to them before deleting to see if they are of any use. Surprisingly many are proving to be rather good for creating interesting patches. This collection has been created from an old sample disk called "Hollywood Edge Giorgio Moroder Rare Synthesizer Collection". So it is not really surprising that not all of the synths sampled are ultra rare synths but there are certainly a few gems in there worth digging for through the 700+ patches of synths such as those by Buchla, Roland (Jupiter 8) and Moog (Taurus). There are also patches from the ARP 2600, the Juno 60, the Korg MonoPoly, the OB 4, Moog modular & Multimoog, Roland TB303, the PPG 2.3, the Oscar and the Prophet 5. A selection of synths we would all love to own but the next best thing is samples and there are plenty. Whether or not Giorgio Moroder gave any input to this collection I do not know but I do remember how expensive these sample disks were way back when I bought them for my old hardware samplers when they were cutting edge tech.

Using the Defective Nation Interface (see pic above) quick and easy edits to patches can be made without having to delve into the Kontakt synth engine. As these samples & patches do not meet the stringent quality controls of Defective Nation I decided to make this collection available.

Included are the NKI files and the relevant wav files so this collection may be of use in other samplers but I can only offer help with Kontakt via the Defective Nation web site.
