Host Jessica Ahnert Davis is founder of Nest Studio and The Eagle's Nest blog. Jess manages a career as an interior and product designer, and, in her spare time, raises her infant son Bryan and her nearly-adult husband, Scott. Honored as one of Boutique Design's 2011 "Up and Coming Interior Designers", she launched her own line of hardware (cabinet handles, knobs and pulls) in 2012, with plans to release more lines in the coming year.

Jess describes herself as a 'design geek' who started young, forcing her parents to buy home design plan magazines and submitting backyard landscape designs to Southern Living as a child (to no acclaim). She graduated from Princeton with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and received her Master's Degree in Interior Design from The New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University, with a stint in-between as a producer on Bob Vila's "Home Again".  As a member of Wilson Associates' New York and LA offices for 8 years Jessica focused primarily on international high-end hospitality projects.  In 2012 she took the leap and launched her own business, Nest Studio focusing on her hardware line, blog and unique residential and commercial projects in the New York and New Jersey Area.

Having grown up in both Hong Kong and Dallas and subsequently lived in New Jersey, Boston, Brooklyn and Los Angeles, Jess draws from a wide range of design inspiration - if something creates drama, adds texture, feels local, provides quiet sophistication, and occasionally sparkles, it will likely be dear to her heart.
