Are you tired of learning about the 5 tones and studying boring Chinese textbooks in a classroom with a Chinese teacher that gives you a lot of homework? If you want to learn how to speak and read Chinese faster I believe there are a more practical ways to learn Mandarin other than the traditional classroom and textbook methods. I’ve studied in the classrooms of Shida at the Mandarin Language Training Center in Taiwan for 6 months and learned how they teach. I’ve also learned outside the classroom in the city of Taipei where I’ve learned just as much.
Why am I determined to figure our new ways to learn? Because learning things like how to write Chinese is a waste of time, when today we spend more time typing. I want to spend my time wisely so I can read and speak Mandarin quickly. I want to great better options for people with this same goal.
There are great opportunities to bring you interesting and practical material to learn Chinese in Taiwan.
To begin sharing some of this material with you I’ve partnered with my good Taiwanese friend. We bring you 11 practical Mandarin lessons that I believe will be more effective and practical for you to learn Mandarin.
Each lesson provides English, Chinese characters, and pinyin so you can know how to pronounce the Chinese instead of using Google translate to convert the characters.
An Mp3 audio version of each lesson is included to accompany the book. English words are spoken by a native English speaker (myself) and Chinese is spoken by Serena, a native Taiwanese Mandarin speaker.
